Tapas & Kocowa 'Thankful For You' Promo

A unique partnership was cultivated with Kocowa Entertainment to cross promote romantic K-drama series between both Tapas and Kocowa's digital platforms for the month of February. As the art director for Tapas U.S. Marketing team, I worked with internal brand and marketing stakeholders, the Kocowa project content manager, and directed a highly talented multimedia designer on my creative team.

 

This campaign leveraged pre-selected romance tropes with a strong CTA and special offer to incentivize audiences to download the Tapas app if they haven't already, purchase exclusive series (in app), and increase online streaming subscriptions for Kocowa. The end result was a significant increase in traffic to each brand's social media channels and an up-tic in 'tako' purchases, which is Tapa's digital currency that users of the app buy to get access to premium content.

A playful logo design and a cohesive look and feel adhered to both brand's guidelines and visual requirements, and set the mood for romance across a variety of assets that included the program landing page, in-app and website banners, social media, blog and e-blast content.
